“This is a vocationally-related qualification that takes an engaging, practical and inspiring approach to learning and assessment. The everyday use of ICT, from PCs to smartphones, now impacts all of our lives. This new Cambridge Nationals in ICT reflects this and provides students with a solid understanding of the subject which they can use in their working lives. Three themes are covered: business information systems, creative and technical.

Through out the two years study we will be looking a the following 4 units in the order of -
R005 – Create a website – Scenario set by OCR – controlled assessment approx 10 hours
R007 – Create a video - Scenario set by OCR – controlled assessment approx 10 hours
R002 – Using ICT to create a Business Solution - Scenario set by OCR – controlled assessment approx 10 hours
R001 – Understanding computer systems – examination 1 hour long.
Each of the units which consist of making sure you have the skills you need and you understand the scenario.
