Topics studied in this section of the course are:
- Religious attitudes to drug abuse
- Religious attitudes to matters of life
- Religious attitudes to the elderly and death
- Religious attitudes to crime and punishment
There are two other topics in the course but we do NOT study these.
In each topic we look at a range of religious responses. Primarily these are from Christianity, Islam and Buddhism. Students need a good basic knowledge of these faiths to be able to present and evaluate beliefs and teachings from these faiths.
In this course students are expected to discuss, disagree and challenge the views presented.
