In this unit students will learn about figure drawing, painting and sculpture. This includes drawing for sculpure, painting the figure from primary observation as well as painting, palette mixing and brush techniques.
Expectations
By the end of this unit it is expected that all students will understand how to produce a piece of figure art. They will also create a refined sketchbook design in their sketchbook for a final sculptural or painted final piece and then produce it.
Key Assessments
Sketchbooks and final pieces are awarded attainment levels.
