Freeze

This is something I do when I need the students to make a connection between what they can hear and their factual based knowledge. I play a set work and the students have to shout freeze when there is something of interest. I then stop the track and they comment on what they have heard. They can earn extra points for more detailed answers or making connections to other points later in the piece. 

It could also work with someone verbally reading facts out (perhaps some are said incorrectly so students have to correct), or suggesting improvements to answers.
