Roman Egypt and Alexandria
Students will explore Roman Alexandria, including its famous lighthouse. They will understand the importance of its geographical location. They will meet the genitive case. They will read and understand stories within a historical context.
By the end of this unit it is expected that all students will: recall key features of location of Alexandria; translate the genitive case in context.
Some learners will have progressed further and will: make informed comparison between Roman Alexandria and Roman Britain.
