Wicked Wednesdays are run by the Humanities Faculty as a curriculum enrichment programme for all Year 7 students.
Once a fortnight (in week A), all Year 7 students spend the whole morning working in the Humanities Faculty. Sometimes they will spend all morning studying one subject (History, Geography, RE or Citizenship); sometimes they will spend one lesson with each of these subjects, all looking at a common theme (eg. Fire).
Students take part in a number of trips as part of the Wicked Wednesdays programme (eg. day trip to London to visit St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London; morning trip to the Wandlebury Estate to develop orienteering skills).
